Nicarugua? Is that a good country for my old Uncle to retire to? He has looked into Belize and Costa Rico but those counties are too 'civilized' for him. He wants a bit of a challenge, maybe in starting a small tourist business. And what Spanish DVD's are best for learning the language? Is "Rocket Spanish " any good? Rosetta Stone? Wasn't Daniel Ortega a dictator and drug czar? Maybe he's cleaned up his image?
What is the best way to bring my wife to America to live with me, i am American and just need a legal path? to get her here, iv'e been married almost 7 years now and really at this point we don't even care about her being an american citizen anymore, we just want to be together at our home before we die of old age waiting for a visa, we plan to return to her country to retire later so what should we do to get past all the crazy red tape and just go on with our life together, this is really a bad thing to wait for a visa its not worth the distruction to my familys happyness, can anyone tell me of a better way for what i'm trying to do, thanks so much. I really hope my question brings to light why so many people where asking for immigration reform, it was not to give a free pass to the mexican workers at all, it was to help the familys of american citizens trapped in never ending red tape and stupidity that is distroying to many peoples lifes for nothing, they give the visas to workers, and push the familys to the back, its all for greed.
one spouse moved out of country, which tax form needs to be file? I am asking this for a friend. His wife and him lived in California for the past 10 years. However, he is retiring and moving to another country. She is not retiring for another 2 years and will still earn income in CA. Which tax form would he have to file if they plan to file a joint return? Is it 540 NR (Non-Resident/Part-Time Resident). Are they consider to be Part time resident even if only ONE of them is out of the country? They tried to look on the California website but it didn't help. Any advise would be appreciated.
