Should Americans that retire to Mexico be granted Mexican Citizenship?

1. Sure. They are far more likely to pay taxes.
2. No. They should have to go thru the same process that legal Mexican immigrants do. Stand in line.
3. if they wait and go through the proper paperwork and applications in mexico, sure. But they shouldn't just arrive and say, "make me a citizen!"
4. I'm sure they can apply for citizenship just the same as Mexicans can apply for American citizenship. There are legal channels for practically everything.

6. the law in Mexico its different, you can live in Mexico you will have to pay the normal taxes, even as a foreigner, they can apply for the citizenship without losing the American one, usually its a process that takes 4 years.

13. Why not? It's gotten so expensive in this country that many elderly are retiring in Latin America.They can live their golden years in peace without worrying about if they can afford,food,medicine,a proper place to live,etc.
