4. I just visited Los Cabos on the Baja peninsula. Beautiful retirement homes and villages there. We took a bus tour and were absolutely amazed by the construction taking place..the majority for retirees!! The weather is absolutely amazing year round and the golf courses are great. Very little threat of severe weather being on the Pacific Ocean...unlike the Gulf coast...I have quite a few years before my husband and I retire, but we're already considering Cabo!!
