  1. Baja
  2. Probably Cancun or Alcapulco. Thats where I'd retire if I was going to do it in Mexico.
  3. Loreto, Baja California This is the ideal place if your idea involves the sun, ocean, and endless outdoor activities at your fingertips. Loreto is considered the ideal of simple and luxury retiring. The temperature stays in the 80´s year round and right behind the main town of Loreto, lies the Restored Mission of San Javier high up in the mountains. If you are looking for a retirement in a smaller area in Mexico, one where you can be at close proximity to the ocean and if you enjoy outdoor activities- then Loreto, Baja California may be just what you are looking for.
  4. I know they've made a movie about it, you should google it; its a community of retired cops/armed forces service folk. I think this is what you're talking about.

  6. Fran Moore, center, plays a hand of bridge with other retired women at the American Legion in Ajijic, Mexico. More than 10,000 retired Americans and Canadians live in the towns along Lake Chapala, a wonderland of sun and lush countryside. Ajijic, the most popular community, dates back to the 16th century. 7. I think there's probably more Americans in San Miguel de Allende than in Ajijic. I'm not 100% sure but I know there's a lot. Good luck!!
