My girlfriend is retired and would like to immigrate from Mexico to the US legally, how can she do this?

We are a lesbian couple. What options will she have to stay here on a semi-permanent to permanent basis legally?

1. are there any states left that allow gay marriage ( I don't know anymore my self?) you could sponsor her for citizenship you can also call immigration about this I would recommend that you don't tell them that she is your girl friend because that creates a lot of problems for you when you are trying to sponsor some one

3. Immigration doesn't recognize gay marriage. Does she have other family that could sponsor her? Without that, I am afraid it will be difficult, since most non-family visas are work visas. You could check at uscis.gov to see if there are other options, but I think you won't find much.

5. Well, that sounds just great. What we need is another "retired" illegal alien that now will want to collect Social Security and end up in one of our nursing homes. Stay in Mexico PLEASE.
6. no one has mentioned it yet. she can't enter the US legally. she doesn't meet the requirements. she can only apply for a tourist visa.
