Mexico Has Some Of The Nicest People On Earth. How Come Mexico Does Not Do More For Its People Living There?

My Mexican friends say that their government does not care for them unless they go North and send money home. What do you think? I think Mexico can be doing more for its citizens to keep them from going North. Most of the illegal Mexicans I know have no love for the U.S., but want to work here, send money back, and then retire there.

1. The government doesn't give a crap about its people. If they did, they would do something about it.
2. I agree. Very nice people with Christian values and family values. Their government is corrupt to the core much like South America because of the druglords that are pretty much running the government. It's scary how they get control like that.
3. There are other countries too that have power and money and don`t give a hoot about their people either. Especially the poor and alot more suffering "if only"..... Why should they care,their pockets are lined with money. I don`t think anyone would have to immigrate anywhere if their own countries took care of them "if only"..... The usual saying is- the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer. Being nice doesn`t matter to greedy people-you usually get a kick in the butt.

5. That is one of the BEST questions I have seen. Is it because Mexicans in Los Angeles know they won't be shot by the "Federales"? Why aren't they in the streets of Mexico City? Because this is the way Mexican President Calderon wants it. He is exporting his nations poverty, while siphoning Billions of dollars from our economy. And yet our President is too much of a PU$$Y to criticize him when he says that "Mexico does NOT end at the border". What an arrogant A$$HOLE he is.
6. most just want to better themselves and they can´t do it there. My husband is mexican and he came here illegally. I went and spent 1 month with him in mexico. Most have to choose to leave there family to support them and have a better life or live in poverty with their children and families. The government should do something but they don´t. They don´t give two sh*ts for their people. Walking over here isn´t right but if we lived down there I promise we would all be running over here too.
