best country to retire

For the UK, France, Poland, China, Russia, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and the countries I forgot?

As an American Veteran, I would like to say that we are approaching the 11th Hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th Month. We refer to that day as Veteran's Day. I would like to offer my appreciation for what all your nations did to end World War ll. Here in America, 1000+ World War ll Veterans are dying daily. There are only three World War l Veterans alive. No one nation can claim the victory over Japan and Germany. It was those brave young men and women who risked everything for the freedoms of their countries. I am proud of my father and three uncles who served America and the World during World War ll. Just like I am proud of all of your Veterans. Let us not forget. Maybe someday we will learn that there are better ways to solve disputes without killing and maiming our young. Thank you and Salutes from a retired United States Air Force Veteran I forgot the brave Philopino's who who fought a daily battle with the Japanese from Dec 7,1941 onward.

  1. wow i am with u on this one!
  2. *snaps to attention* I am a Russian, and a vetern of Chechnya. Blessing and praise to everyone who fought in the first and second (the great patriotic for us) wars. No men are higher or more exhaulted to me then these men. Men, some of whom fought for the very survivial of their people. (Britan, French, Poland, USSR, and all the others) Or who came across the world to help preserve freedom. (USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Indian and many more) Well said my comrade!
  3. Thank-you we should never forget those that returned and always remember those brave young men that didn't. I will certainly be standing at the 11th hour to honour them in the way they should be. Lest We Forget.
  4. Isn't it ironic that two of the countries you salute are ready to destroy the US economy or even try to do it militarily ! I share your enthusiasm about trying to resolve differences other than militarily, but I believe in the Teddy Roosevelt style of doing it. You know, the big stick thing. We had a guy in the White House who always tried to achieve a win, win situation with his adversaries. Why, he had a diplomatic team that was ready to grab it's ankles if necessary, in order to come away from a situation with everyone smiling. About all he was able to achieve, was an enemy who bought enough time so that it could do some serious harm to the US. It saw, during his watch, a US government that was inclined to turn the other cheek, whenever it was attacked, and it was attacked six different times. To think, there are idiots in this country who are ready to put that sleaze ball behind the wheel again. Are they out of their friggin minds? Are you one of them, Mr. Happy?
  5. Yes, the 11th hour of the 11th day, on the 11th month is our Rememberance Day, at the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them, Lest We Forget !
  6. Why not include our country, Philippines?
