1. Sure! I think that Thailand is one of the best place to live & retire. Life is so easy there for foreigners & people so friendly. I wish I could spend a part of my life in this wonderful country!
2. Thailand have for long time been a good place for foreigners. Vietnam is slowly taken over this position. Because the laws in Thailand continue to be more and more crazy. Many foreigners living here for years is moving to the nearby countries, Vietnam etc. And regarding finding a Thaiwife. You will get a better life if you choose to live alone. Thais way of thinking and understanding is so fare away from western, that you will have to deal with misunderstanding most of your life. Live alone, and just find a girl for a night when you need. Because its so easy.
