i am retired and live in thailand and have the chance to teach the children English free can I do this or do I

i have a school classroom with all facilities free to use from a thai school i want to give my knowledge free to help the kids who want to learn .what is the legal position

5. Any work whether paid or unpaid requires a work permit. Saying this a blind eye can be turned by the authorities to charity work. the best thing to do is to ask the immigration department where you go for your retirement visa sign-ins. I have always found them very helpful.
6. What is a legal postion? You should completely do it and if you facilty is not allowed to let you do that then do it through your home and have free semenars but actalu tutoring should be charged not a lot but enough to cover the cost of elctricty and stuff you are using plus some extra to raffle off free tution fo a year for a lucky student in your free class. TH free one should be a grou while the tutoring is one on one.
7. I used to teach English for free to African refugees at an elementary classroom after hours, here in the US. There were no permits or licenses required here. Most people don't want to get in the way of knowledge. I'm assuming Thailand would be the same. I think as long as the school says it's okay, you should be fine. I'm not really sure why you'd be asking this question.
