How to convince Fidel Castro to retire after 47 years in power?

Should we ask the UN to mediate or send the marines? If you worry about African tragedies, you should see what really goes on inside Cuba.

Public Comments

  1. Asking the UN to intervene is uttlerly absurd, since it is governed by a collection of despotic regimes, rogue Islamic states, and third world hellholes. And said collective is friendly to Cuba. Moreover, the notion that the UN has any true function or power any more is unfounded. Castro will not step down of his own volition, nor would most sane individuals. The question them remains, is a military solution worth it. The answer to that is no given how overextended our forces are and how many other nations are more in need of a military invasion.
  2. I am actually more concerned with his brother who will most likely take over for him when he does retire. I think HE will think he has something to prove and it will get even worse. I guess at this point it is better to go with the devil you know...
